Addicted Learners [of ... + Arabic]
bismillah assalamualikum warahma tullahi wabaraka tuhu,
the message is for the Addicted Arabic Learners mostly, however it can benefit all Muslims if they use the link i will share inshaaAllah. i will tell you why i called it addicted.
It is really an amazing (what should i even call it? thing?!) Ok, it is amazing to see that so many people are learning Arabic language, and trying hard, very hard to master it, giving Arabic full time over everything else to master it fast. Alhamdulillah, this is a GREAT blessing and Tawfeeq from Allah. Whoever has obtained it, obtained great blessing. Alhamdulillah. BUT everyone makes mistake! If you did not know this, lets learn this fact together so we could be easy on each others always in every aspects of life.
In learning ARabic, the learner makes many mistakes, from amongst them is: paying less attention to learn NEW words! i say, eat up every new arabic word comes in your way, let it run in your blood stream like red & white blood cells, ok, don't let it die out. [i.e. you have to memorize it, and use it, and repeat it, somehow you have to make sure you do it so it is part of you ok.]
If you make mistake on this aspect, you will suffer like me! Did i suffer? i say, i suffered more than all of you and still am suffering because of this one mistake.
One of the thing i shared to over come my mistake was to watch ARabic Cartoons [FREE OF MUSIC please]. I shared a lot of them over my blogs, and they are still there, where countless people visit daily and perhaps they watch them too.
But did you know! you could become so addicted to them, O yes! like the addiction of alcohol and whatever else name you want to use for this. Bottom line is the one who watches cartoons with lovely anasheed in them, catching stories, becomes addicted to them! Addicted means or one of the meaning of it is that it is hard for one to get rid of the habit [of doing whatever one is doing] right? i hope i am close.
So Yes, now our ARabic Learner became an Addicted Arabic Learner, now if Allah has give you enough streanght and you know the PURPOSE of watching these cartoons to begin with and also purpose of learning ARabic, and you know that Music is Haram that breeds nifaq in your heart, and those anasheed with lovely voice is no good for you to listen either [the meanings are lovely trust me, pure, no evil in them, rather good words, like summarizing the stories into nice song time if you call it]. Then, Allah saved you! Otherwise, i honestly fear for you.
And Yes, if you watch cartoons: #1 please find FREE of Music cartoons, [countless of them out there, you got to find them]; #2 Please make sure to watch Islamic Type ones, calm ones, so you actually benefit from them instead of wasting time! There are countless good islamic mannered ones, teaches good manners to children, # 3: Oh! Yes! Please watch Kids cartoons, not adult stuffs! Please! may Allah save me and you! i did not share except kids stuffs on my site by the way and free of music cartoons.
Maybe you will be master in speaking and learning ARabic, but you will not get where you want to, and also those cartoons are not enough to understand Quraan at all, not even the speech of the Scholars, because they do not use the advance words and they are not based on the terms of aqeedah, fiqh, tasfeer, etc. Every field has its own terms, so you need to learn every field from its proper place.
So if you learn ARabic from the cartoons, you will end up in the cartoons fields, i.e. get good words and communication skills to speak with Arabs and some terms to learn some normal basics of Islam and little of Quraan and hadith as well.
So if your intention in Learning ARabic is to Learn Islam, and the Quraan, the aqeedah, fiqh, and speech of the scholars, then here is something i found useful:
Tafsir of Quraan, in brief, very easy, words are very clear, just listen to the tafsir of small surahs, over and over again and look them up or just listen to learn those words. and You will be there someday soon inshaaAllah to understand the Quraan for which you are learning Arabic. RIGHT? i hope so. may Allah grant me and you tawfeeq. Ameen.
Also, try to read religious type of books, not just stories because like i said above every field has its own words and terms... So it is not enough.
So Ok. I hope Allah guide me and you and grans me and you the tafeeq to do all that is good. Ameen.

وَ لاَ تَتْرُكْ لَهُمْ شَيْئاً And don't stop doing things because of them!
وَ لاَ تُغَطِّ لَهُمْ شَيْئاً And don't hide anything from them!
وَ لاَ تَكْشِفْ لَهُمْ شَيْئاً And don't reveal anything to them!
Success is failure turned inside out;
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit;
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.
